Andy Berley

Andy is a multifaceted individual with an impressive career in education and public service. His passion for animal rescue is evident in his role as Director of Adoptions for the Collie Rescue League of New England and Eastern New York. As a former board chair and vendor for NEKLS, he has been an important contributor to the organization's success. In his retirement, he continues to serve his community as the zoning administrator and town meeting moderator for Westmore. Andy's dedication to his work and his interests is an inspiration to us all. 

Linda Michniewicz 


Linda's unwavering commitment to early childhood education is at the heart of her role on the board. With a rich background as a preschool teacher, Head Start director, and Early Childhood Program Coordinator, she brings invaluable experience to the table. Her dedication extends beyond her professional career, evident in her service on multiple educational and community boards, reflecting her passion for the well-being and development of children. Linda's role as a Justice of the Peace and her involvement with the Board of Civil Authority in her hometown of Westmore further underscore her commitment to civic duty. Her love for the Northeast Kingdom and its natural resources fuels her determination to provide the best opportunities for the community's youngest members. 

Marty Feltus



Marty has been a resident of the NEK for over 40 years. Her involvement in the workforce and Community activities have given her a broad understanding of the assets and needs of our area. Both her professional activities at Weidmann Electrical Technology and her volunteer service for the Town ofLyndon has contributed strong and effective leadership skills. Collaboration was key to her success in the House of Representatives and stands her in good stead on our NEKLS board. Marty understands that advancing adult education and literacy is the cornerstone of improving employment prospects in our region while also engendering satisfaction in daily living in our chosen communities.
