About NEKLS

Our Story: From Humble Beginnings to Inspiring Journeys

Beginning as a one-woman initiative, Northeast Kingdom Learning Services began with Eva Warner teaching her neighbors how to read around her kitchen table. In 55 years, NEKLS has grown to offering a multitude of services that provide alternatives to traditional education, adult education, job training, child care, and support for families and children beyond the classroom. NEKLS' goal is to cultivate a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime, commencing from infancy and continuing throughout all stages of life.
