The NEKLS Story

The NEKLS organizational culture and educational philosophy reflect its origins as a small, local educational program located in the most rural area of the beautiful Green Mountain State, Vermont. In rural, Northeastern Vermont, people and organizations partner to build individual and community quality of life.

During its corporate history, NEKLS has become a Vermont success story with one of the state's best sustained non-profit growth rates. In the last decade, revenue has increased by over four hundred percent and programs and accounts from one to twenty-three. Yet, for all its corporate success, we remain a people centered, rural organization - people still answer our telephones.

We have provided superior educational programs and management and financial services to the schools, people, towns and organizations of Northeastern Vermont for many years, now we are bringing our experience and skills to a larger audience, using the World Wide Web.

The NEKLS corporate service structure is organized into two departments. This design reflects our mission to offer both educational programs and organizational support services. The name of the department housing our educational programs is Knowledge Builders. The name of the department that is the corporate name for all organizational support offerings is called SUCCESS MATRIX.
