Program Management

NEKLS has years of experience in managing education and community engagement programs for schools, municipalities, libraries, community groups and provider organizations. Among the programs NEKLS has managed for other entities are; Twenty First Century, School-To-Work, Caring Communities, alternate schools, and a variety of youth engagement and mentoring projects.

As program manager, NEKLS prepares monthly program and financial reports for the contractor governing body or designee, employs staff, assumes responsibility for performance and compliance, prepares all funding source reports, provides an annual outside evaluation, attends all funding source required trainings and meetings and coordinates with program partners. Management fees ranges from one percent to eleven percent of the award.
